Riverland Skips has been operating the Moorook Transfer Station on behalf of the Loxton Waikerie District Council since October 2020. Although we are now managing the facility, the Council's normal operating hours and fees/charges still apply.

The Moorook Transfer Station is open to the public on Saturdays 1pm to 4pm. (CLOSED on Public Holidays)

The Transfer Station will be open 9am until 12pm on days forecasted 40 degrees or above (according to the Elders weather website morning forecast). Members of the public are encouraged to check the forecast on days of extreme heat prior to visiting the transfer station.
